Elisabeth Pixley-Fink is a Michigan-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. Her heartbreaking and heart-making blend of distinctive folk and bratty garage rock hits you in the chest with guts, trust and hunger.
Heartskin, her upcoming full-length album, was recorded directly onto tape in Detroit, produced by John Hanson (Saltbreaker, Yimes, Izzy Johnson), mixed by Tim Carr (Perfume Genius, Hand Habits) and mastered by Timothy Stollenwerk (Haley Heyndericks, Damien Jurado). Inspired by a masterful blend of riot grrrl, ambient stillness, and the work of queer Spanish poet Federico Garcia Lorca, Heartskin is twelve songs of a heart shedding its own skin.
Habits and Fearless and the Pure, the first two singles supporting the album’s release, hint to Heartskin’s complexity and range, unified by Pixley-Fink’s powerhouse vocals and distinct songwriting voice.

“Lizzy’s depth of spirit comes through so clearly in her voice and in her songs. Every time I hear her dig in, I feel moved - this album is full of that digging.” - Theo Katzman, vulfpeck
